Black, Ivory & Venue Etchings
Black and ivory is a popular and classic combination for wedding invitation suites. Adding in an image of your wedding venue is a great way to personalize your wedding invites. You can incorporate your wedding venues into your invitations in several different ways. Here are a few examples of how our couples chose to add them in.
These invites were designed for a summer wedding at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury in New Jersey. An image of the venue is printed on the front of the opal Details booklet. The main invite was printed on ivory paper and glued to a black backer. Each invitation is wrapped in vellum and held closed with black satin ribbon. A black wax seal with an image of a rose is placed in the center of the ribbon to complete this invitation suite.
Traditional script and print fonts are used throughout this invitation suite.

Opal, ivory and black come together to make this elegant invitation suite for a May wedding. The wedding reception will take place at The Great Hall at Monmouth University. An etching of the venue can be found on the envelope liners. Traditional script and print fonts are used throughout the main invite and the insert cards. These panel pocket invitations are perfection.
Guests will find an image of the wedding venue as they open the envelope.

Guests will open up these tri-fold enclosures to find a beautiful etching of the venue, The Venetian, printed along the bottom of the main invite. A metallic beige border frames the main invite, and a matching belly band with a monogram is used to hold the invitations closed. White ink printing is used along the side panels of the tri-fold.

An image of the Tilling House at Suneagles Golf Club is front and center on these panel pocket invites. A brushed gold border frames the main invite. A combination of modern script and traditional print fonts is used throughout the invitation suite. The Events, Accommodations and Response cards are all held neatly in the back pocket, making it easy for your guest to keep all the pieces of the invitation together.
