Plum and All that Glitters is Gold

These invites will most likely inspire you to put on our best high heels and get all gussied up! You’ve been warned! And we would love nothing more than to get dressed up and party it up with Lauren, soon to be Moulds, because she is just one of the nicest people! She is actually dear friends with another APS favorite and past client, Leslie who we did some fun vacation and tropical inspired wedding suite for. Oh and they just passed their one year anniversary – HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

When Lauren came to us to do her invites, we were elated and now we have been fortunate enough to design an entire wedding suite for her special day!

So the invites…the colors are EVERYthing. She chose a palette of plum, gold and champagne. The invitation was designed as a flat invitation on a champagne pearlescent paper and accented with another pearlescent paper in that gorgeous plum. The cascading collection of dots in hues of gold and champagne that frame the top of the invite is one of our favorite parts.

Wrapped around the invite is a double belly band of the pearlescent plum and gold glitter paper with Eat Drink and be Married in the center.

Tucked behind the invitation is the RSVP and Details booklet. The Details booklet has a thin diagonal pinstripe pattern that acts as a nice backdrop to the darker gold pearlescent paper of the RSVP card. The contrasting colors of the each layer of paper really allow the plum script to pop off the page.
