Navy and Yellow Sunflower Wedding Invites

“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows. It’s what the sunflowers do.” Helen Keller

I bet if you were to look up sunflowers in the dictionary, sunflowers would be defined with one word: happiness. Their bright yellow pedals evoke nothing but sun shiny feelings, just like love, love like what Karissa and Richard share. These two lovebirds are getting married in October and dreamed up a navy and yellow sunflower invitation design for their wedding at The English Manor in Ocean, NJ.

When you open the single pocket booklet enclosure, you’re blasted with sunshine. Sunflowers bloom in each corner with the invitation details in a mix of yellow and navy. The main font is casual but with a good dose of fun and mixed with an all caps typeface.

In the pocket the “What you need to know” booklet is in the bright yellow and printed with a fun chevron pattern. The bright yellow creates a beautiful backdrop to the RSVP card that has “Can’t Wait to Celebrate!” as the yes option and our guess is that most will be enthusiastically checking – YES.

Wrapped around the invitation, is a double belly-band of thick banned burlap and yellow paper with their monogram in the center: K&R 10.03.15.

To Karissa and Richard, we loved designing these invitations for you. Our office was filled with sunshine and we hope your wedding day is as well. XOXO
